Our service
Our application would be an application to create a day planner for
families on vacation. The activities and places to discover are listed
according to each place. Parents will be able to integrate them directly
into their planning. The days can be organized one by one or by week.
The children will be able to see the schedule without being able to
modify it, they will be able to select the things they want to do and
propose them to their parents.

Yuggler,
Description of the mobile app.
Yuggler is an app for parents, grandparents & caregivers to find kids
activities, things to do for families and fun places near your current
location or travel destinations.
It is linked to our project because you can find activities to
do for families but you can't plan the days and take into
consideration what the children might say.
-
Jorte Calendrier,
Link of the website of the mobile app
it is an app which permits to plan activities while being fun and
interactive because it is customizable. It is linked to our project
because it allows to create a planning for holidays but also because
since it is very interactive it can be used by families. However what
differentiates it, is the fact that it is not specially made for the
use of all the family and for children.

How to use the app
The app is made to be used by families. There are two type of profile on the app. The parents profile and the kids one. The parents connect with their email adress. Then they get to chose their destination, and then they are able to search for activities to do and to add them to a planner where they can also add other informations
The parents can also see which activities are recommended by their children since the children can alco connect to their profile with a code given by their parents. The chilldren can with their profile enter their preferences and then be recommended activities they can recommend to their parents. They can also see their parents planner but they are not able to modify it.
Technical details
- Since our project is a mobile app, it must be coded in C or in Swift for the appstore. Here is the link of a page explaining how to choose betxeen both languages
Link
- To be comptaptible with Android our application must also be coded in Java or in Kotlin. Here is an article explaining the difference between these two languages.
Link
- Geolocalisation must be implemented to the app to know where are the families nearby. Here is the link of a web page that explain how to implement geolocalisation in an Android application.
Link
- Possibility to use the app without connection to see the planner
- The developped app must be easy to use and to understand as seen in the mockup since it will be used by young children in age of having a phone
- We would like the mood of our application to be very familiy-friendly. Thus we would like to use very warm coulours such as orange for instance

Vacances populaires, Pierre Perrier chapter 3.
Link of the website
This chapter is related to our topic because it highlights how hard
planning holidays can be. It underlines that for some families, going
on holidays happens hardly once a year and for that reason everyone
want it to be perfect and to please to everyone in the family. It also
shows us that at some point planning holidays can cause stress because
there is a fear of failing this unique moment of the year.
